SINGAPORE (day 75)
SINGAPORE has a great diversity of lifestyles, religions and cultures that live together in harmony. SINGAPORE is a well ordered spotlessly clean society of 4.6 million people. The roads are well paved and busses, excellent subways, ferries & cable cars connect you to all parts of the island. Most Colonial landmarks have been preserved even though good deal of old SINGAPORE has been knocked down to make way for the modern city. In the last three decades SINGAPORE has been transformed into a modern metropolis.
Today we went out on our own. We boarded the #143 bus and road it for about 15 minutes to CHINATOWN.
